The tower also includes a restaurant and gallery at 30 metres. In the 1992 movie of Godzilla vs. Mothra, the character Battra attacks Nagoya and destroys the tower after being hit by one of the tanks' missiles. This TV tower closely resembles the Eiffel Tower oldest TV tower in Japan, and was completed in 1954.
