In January 1983 Eric Sléziak began making the largest wild boar in the world in his workshop in Bogny-sur-Meuse. 11 years later and after 12,000 hours of work, Woinic was born with dizzying measurements; 50 tons, 10 meters high, 13 meters long and 5 meters wide! What unusual sight for motorists crossing the Ardennes on the A34 (14 kilometers northeast from Rethel), Woinic appears, proudly planted on his feet, his mouth slightly open, his ears on the alert. Woinic is visible from the Motorway. <p> Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday from April to October 10.00 (10:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm). The wild boar display is visible 24/7. <p> Admission: Free admission. Plenty of free parking. <p> This is a Euroscope dual function machine that presses euro cents <b>OR</b> dispenses a "Memoeuro" souvenir banknote (currency replicas). The machine has two coin slots. One that accepts €2 cost for each "penny" <b>OR</b> another slot that accepts €3 cost for each "Memoeuro". The machine also accepts credit cards. <p> <b>Machine 2 Euro Cent</b> is in front of the Woinic Tourist Info Point. Cost to press: 2€ each design. (A 2€ coin or two 1€ coins only. <b>Machine does not give change</b>). The "penny" will be pressed on a supplied 5 Euro cent. Once you insert the coins, wait 5 seconds for the supplied 5 Euro cent to drop into place before cranking the handle. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Woinic': <br> 1.
