The Royal Château of Blois is a French Renaissance castle that served as a primary residence for seven kings and ten queens of France from the Middle Ages to the 17th century. It is famous for its unique courtyard featuring four distinct architectural styles—Gothic, Italianate, Renaissance, and Classical.

Hours of operation: Unknown.

Admission: Free admission. Various parking is close but you have to walk to the machines.

There are three separate machines all located next to each other.

Machine 1 is located at the top of the Place du Château near the Chateau entrance. €1.05 each design (A 1€ coin and a 5 Euro cent coin. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Chateau Royal Blois':
1. (H) Porcupine with a crown on its back.
2. (V) Castle Tower.
3. (H) Château Royal.

Token Machine 1 is located at the top of the Place du Château near the Chateau entrance. Cost to dispense: €3. The machine will accept one €2 coin and one €1 coin Machine does not give change. Design:
Obverse: Statue of King Louis XII on horseback with 'Château Royal De Blois Statue Equestre de Louis XII'.
Reverse: Outline of France with 'Monnaie de Paris Made in France Frappé en France 2024'.

Memoeuro Machine 1 is located at the top of the Place du Château near the Chateau entrance. Cost to dispense: €2. The machine will accept one €2 coin OR two €1 coins Machine does not give change. Design:
