It runs along the Atlantic coast and stretches from northern Norway to southern France. 2,485 miles (4,000 km) long, the Atlantic Wall required approximately 17,003, 400 cubic yards (13 million cubic meters) of concrete for its construction. It caused the deaths of approximately 10,000 Allied soldiers.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday February 8 to March 31: 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm), Monday through Sunday April 1 to September 30: 09.00 (9:00 am) to 19.00 (7:00 pm), Monday through Sunday October 1 to November 16: 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm), Saturday and Sunday only November 17 to December 19: 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm), Monday through Sunday December 19 to January 4, 2026: 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm). The museum is closed on December 25 and January 1. Annual closure from January 5 to February 7, 2026.
Admission: €8.50 (Adults and children over 13 years old), €6.50 € (Children from 6 to 12 years old), Children under 6 years old are free. Paid parking near the Museum (from March 1 to October 31). Free parking nearby.
Machine 1 is in the gift shop. Takes a 1 euro coin and a 5 eurocent coin per design. Designs have a beaded border:
