Comments:	There is an accompanying fountain sculpture where visitors may throw their pressed penny to make a wish if they like.<p> This penny press is an interactive sculpture by Kelly Wall and part of the Hammer Museum's 'Made in LA' biannual. <p> Machine 1 located on the third floor across from the gift shop. Designs include: <br> 1) "ONE WISH" with a wishing star in the sky, <br> 2) "SOMETHING TO HOLD ON TO", <br> 3) "ONE WISH" with a shooting star, <br> 4) "You are Here" (on front) "Then You're Gone" (reverse side) <p> 2/23/26: Rolling short on copper. Pennies are supplied and the use of this machine is 100% free (no admission to enter the museum).<br> Machine located on the third floor across from the gift shop. Visited machine twice because first time it was out of order. <br> Sign next to machine requests that visitors use supplied pennies (big stack next to the machine). I noticed that all of the supplied pennies were copper; is it possble that zinc pennies were causing the jams? <p> Exhibit closes on March 1, 2026; no idea where the machine will end up. - JLK
