LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Scheveningen is located on the boulevard of Scheveningen, near the Hotel Kurhaus and the Pier. This boulevard is car-free. <p> Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday minimum hours 10.00 (10:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm). Hours are variable; they may open as early as 09.00 (9:00 am) and close as late at 18.00 (6:00 pm). Check the website for operating hours of your visit. <p> Admission: You must pay admission to access the machine. €21.00, Children 2 and under free. If you ask nicely, and if they are not too busy, they may escort you to the machine for free. Enter into the gift shop door on the side of the building and ask one of the employees if you can use the machine. <p> This machine is a dual "penny"/token machine encased in the same machine. It presses "pennies" and dispenses a token. The machine has one coin slot that accepts €3 cost for each "penny" or token (A 2€ coin or two 1€ coins only <b>Machine does not give change</b>). The "penny" will be pressed on a supplied 5 Euro cent. Credit cards are accepted for either "pennies" or tokens. Once you insert the coins or pay by credit card, you <b>MUST</b> press the button for pennies or the token. When you press the button for pennies, wait 5 seconds for the supplied 5 Euro cent to drop into place before cranking the handle. <p> <b>Machine 1</b> is downstairs in the activity area.
