Rotterdam has become internationally known for its architecture, foremost because of the explicit look of the cube-houses. In the 80's this complex was an eye-opener for many architecturally interesting projects to come. The complex with cube-houses (also known by its nickname "Blaak Forest") are a true ICON since 1984.
No admission charge to access the souvenir shop.
This is a dual "penny"/token machine encased in the same machine. It presses "pennies" and dispenses tokens. The token portion of the machine accepts any combination of the following: one 2€ coin Or two 1€ coins.
Machine 1 Go up a few stairs to end up underneath the cube houses. If you look around a bit, you’ll find a little souvenir shop. The machine is in front of the souvenir shop. The .05€ cent comes automatically from the machine, but an EC costs 2€ each; it can be paid in cash or by card. Designs all with 'Rotterdam':
