We conduct research in seven different fields: earth science, botany, zoology, archaeology, history, folklore, arts and crafts. <br> The museum exhibits the results of its research. There are numerous exhibits such as dioramas of mountains and rivers, indigenous flora and fauna, past lifestyles and cultural heritage of our prefecture. <p> Medallion Machine 1: The designs are:<br> 1) Tyrannosaurus, <br> 2) Tochigi Prefectural Museum building. <p> 5/31/25: The souvenir coin pressing machine mistakenly put here is at the Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi. <br> There is a machine with 2 round medallions here in the gift shop at the entrance of the museum. No admission required to access the machine.
