Established in 1880, it is one of the oldest parks in Japan. Administratively, the park is under the control of Nara Prefecture. The park is one of the "Places of Scenic Beauty" designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Over 1,200 wild sika deer freely roaming around in the park, classified as a natural treasure. While the official size of the park is about 1,240 acre), the area including the grounds of Todai-ji, Kofuku-ji, Kasuga Grand Shrine and Nara National Museum, which are either on the edge or surrounded by Nara Park, is as large as 1,600 acres.

Now tokens cost 300 yen,and it was an unusual price(in Japan)The machine was pretty hard to find.All staff members that I met had no idea where it is,and I even showed pictures. More detailed location-when you go out from the Great Buddha hall,don’t turn anywhere, just go straight almost until the end and on your right-hand side you will see the machine-AA-
