Comments:	Charles de Gaulle Memorial is entirely dedicated to him. His life, career and achievements are on display, with photos, documentary videos and even collectors’ items. The building is surrounded by greenery and features the famous Croix de Lorraine, the monument to Free France inaugurated on June 18, 1972 by President Georges Pompidou. The Memorial features a 17,222 square foot (1,600 m2) permanent exhibition dedicated not only to the life of Charles de Gaulle, but also to all major historical events from 1890 to 1970. <p> Hours of operation: May 1 to September 30 Monday through Sunday 09:30 (9:30 am) to 19.00 (7:00 pm), October 1 to March 31 Wednesday through Monday 10.00 (10:00 am) to 17.30 (5:30 pm), April 1 to 30 Monday through Sunday 10.00 (10:00 am to 17.30 (5:30 pm).
