Built in 1959, the Sulphur Mountain Gondola is the only bi-cable gondola in Canada. The 360° view from the upper gondola terminal, view-decks and Summit Ridge interpretive boardwalk, is the very best vantage point in the west. Safely seated in 4 passenger gondola cabins, visitors are transported in 8 minutes to the summit at an elevation of 7,486 feet (2,281 m) above sea level. 
Hours of operation: Winter hours: January 18 through March 12 Monday and Tuesday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday 10:00 am to 8:30 pm. Spring hours: March 13 through April 9 Monday and Tuesday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday 10:00 am to 9:30 pm. Summer hours: June 26 through September 7 daily 8:00 am to 10:30 pm. September 8 through October 12 daily 8:00 am to 9:30 pm. Fall hours: October 13 through December 17 Monday and Tuesday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday 10:00 am to 8:30 pm. Hours subject to change without notice. Call ahead to verify.
