Duquesne Incline is an Inclined Plane Railroad, or Funicular, located near Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood and scaling Mt. Washington. It was completed in 1877 and is 800 feet long, 400 feet in height, and is inclined at a 30 degree angle. It is an unusual 5 ft gauge.

Both machines are at the top of the incline by the doors that go out to the street. There is a gift shop that sells the Pittsburgh penny book.
If you park on the upper level on Grandview Avenue (on Mount Washington), you can reach this machine without paying an admission or ride fee. If you park on the lower level near the river, you will need to take the incline up to this level; the fee is $2.50 each way.
At the top of the incline parking across the street was $12.

They have been updated to a $1 per design card payment system and they provide the Zinc penny.
