June 14, 2026. The penny machine is working, but not well. Even when pushing the coin tray in slow or fast, the penny would not always fall into place. Quite often the slide would stick.
Also, three of the designs had trouble rolling. The barn design rolled 3 times when trying to roll other designs (I now have 4 copies of the barn design).
It took 3 tries to get a decent pizza/pizza slice design penny. After 4 attempts for the truck design and getting 1/2 pressed images I gave up on it.
The old fashioned bike design never pressed anything at all. I tried various positions (above/below) for lining up the arrow to the design and it didn't seem to make a difference.
The two that I did succeed at had good quality images. All these attempts were done on 95% copper pre-1982 pennies. MWHTH
