Searched both the admission booth and gift store, and asked a volunteer employee by the entrance regarding the machine. They said that it used to be behind the admission booth, but it is now gone. They also said they may bring up the topic of a penny machine during the next meeting for employees.
The Queens Zoo is a 18-acre zoo located in Flushing Meadows – Corona Park in the New York City borough of Queens.The zoo is home to more than 75 species that are native to the Americas.[3] It is the only one of five zoos in New York City that exhibits spectacled bears.[citation needed] It is also home to Bald Eagle, Pumas, California Sea Lions, Coyotes, Snowy Owls, Canada Lynx, Pudú, Thick-billed Parrots, American Alligators, Roosevelt Elk, American Bison, Trumpeter Swans, Pronghorn Sheep, Sandhill Crane, Chacoan Peccarys, an aviary, and a petting zoo with a variety of domestic animals
The machine was behind the ticket booth entrance at the Zoo.
