Through a spectacular museography, the Airborne Museum takes you through the D-Day alongside American paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Division. From the invasion preparations in England through the battles for liberation, meet the Airborne troops and accompany them on their journey to Victory.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday; May to August: 09.00 (9:00 am) to 19.00 (7:00 pm), April and September: 09.30 (9:30 am) to 18.30 (6:30 pm), October to March: 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm). Closed in December and January except during Christmas Holidays: call ahead for actual days open for the Christmas Holidays.
Admission: You do not have to pay admission to access the Eurocent machine. Adult price (17+) €11.50, Children 6 - 16 years €7.50, Free for kids under 6 years old. Plenty of parking nearby for a fee.
Machine 1 is outside next to the entrance. Each design cost €2.05 (One €2 coin or Two €1 coins) on a 5 Eurocent. Designs all have a beaded border with 'Airborne Museum Sainte-Mère-Église 6.6.1944':
