Learn about Monarch migration in a captivating 3D movie, observe live chrysalis as they emerge naturally into beautiful butterflies, spend ample time strolling through the conservatory with the butterflies, get up close to unique reptiles that inhabit rainforests across the world, and even indulge in edible insects.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Plenty of free parking.
Admission: The penny machine is inside by the restrooms you do not have to pay admission to access it. You must pay admission to access the token machines. Adults $33.95, Child (Ages 2-12) $23.95. If you ask nicely, and they are not too busy, they may accompany you to the token machines without paying admission.
Machine 1: (Placed 2017) has been moved outside of the exhibit so no admission is required. Cost to press: 51¢ each design. Designs all have a pennycollector.com beaded border with 'Butterfly Wonderland':

March 18, 2026. Due to overwhelming demand, the penny machine has been moved outside of the exhibit so no admission is required. Penny machine is rolling well centered excellent images on 97.5% zinc 2.5% copper pennies.
I was too cheap to pay that admission price so I asked if I could enter to just dispense the tokens and was allowed in the exhibit with a guide to get the tokens. Tokens are of excellent quality. MWHTH |
