It was opened to the public on June 7, 1982, Graceland was the first site related to rock and roll to be entered in the National Register of Historic Places.
Parking to access any machines onsite is $10 per vehicle.
Machine 1 is located in the Home and Kids Gift Shop. Admission is required to enter this area. Machine is loaded with zinc pennies (cannot roll your own coin) and are $1 each cash or 4 for $4 on a credit card. Designs are:

1) (V) A lightning bolt and 10 stars with 'TCB Taking Care Of Business In A Flash'.
2) (V) Two silhouettes of Elvis and a record with a label of 'Elvis Love Me Tender Elvis Presley'.
3) (V) Six stars, a side profile of Elvis with 'elvis IS'.
4.) (H) The gates of Graceland and Graceland mansion with 'Graceland'.
Token machine is located in the central ticket building. Admission is NOT required to enter this area. The cost is $5.00 per token or 3 for $10. The token machine only accepts cash; $1, $5, or $10 bills. No change is given.
