Stone Mountain Park is located just 16 miles east of downtown Atlanta. The five square mile park is Georgia’s most visited attraction. Home to the world’s largest piece of exposed granite, Stone Mountain Park offers a variety of attractions, entertainment and recreation.
Getting into the park requires an admission per carload. Getting to the Top of the Mountain required a ticket for the Skyride.
All machines (except the mountaintop machines) can be reached without paying admission and can be accessed even after the park has closed and/or before the park opens as they are located on the outside of the shops. You can reach the top of the mountain using the railcar for $10 per person or you can be challenged and hike up the mountain for free
The machines near the Marketplace and the Candy Kitchen require an admission ticket during the Christmas season. Not sure during other times of the year.
