Comments:	Tickfaw State Park located 7 mi west of Springfield, in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, opened in May 1999 and quickly became one of Louisiana's most popular state parks because of its natural setting, recreation opportunities, and proximity to the state's two largest metropolitan areas of New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The park contains a nature center, picnic shelters, a large fishing pond, 14 cabins, and 50 campsites. <p> The machine is located in the Nature Center in the Park. Each of the 4 pennies has "Tickfaw State Park" . Designs are: <br> 1) Alligator, <br> 2) Turkey, <br> 3) Louisiana state, <br> 4) Fleur-de-lis. <p> 4/10: Machine installed. <br> 9/21: LA parks have new website addresses. Updated Tickfaw. <p> 04Mar2024 - RAH - Successful mail off! Super friendly staff. Got the coins back in 10 calendar days. <p> 9/26/25: Almost 6 years later and the nature center is closed again when I arrive. The park website says the nature center was open till 4:30 pm but the park employee said it closed today at 2 pm. I guess I should try mailing them next time. JLT
