Take a walk around the capitol and enjoy a .7 mile stroll with the Yoshino Cherry trees which were planted in 2007-2008. The Utah State Capitol however, has had Cherry trees since 1931. They are a staple for family photos and bloom beautifully in April each year!  
Capitol Building Hours:  
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 am-8:00 pm  
Friday – Sunday, & Holidays: 7:00 am-6:00 pm  
Free parking available all around the capitol building.  
Machine 1: Located on the main floor, on the west side of the foyer, located near the giant State Seal design on the floor. Cost is 51¢ each. Designs are:
