Billy the Kid Gift Shop is at the southeast corner of the plaza you will find the Billy the Kid Gift Shop, once the Mesilla courthouse and jail. It was here in 1881 that a jury convicted Billy the Kid of ambushing and killing Sheriff William Brady in Lincoln, New Mexico, and here that Judge Warren Bristol sentenced Billy to "be hanged by the neck until his body is dead."

Machine 1 is now inside the second part of the gift shop. Design is:
