According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Prague Castle is the largest coherent castle complex in the world, with an area of almost 70,000 m². A UNESCO World Heritage site, it consists of a large-scale composition of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of various architectural styles, from the remains of Romanesque-style buildings from the 10th century through Gothic modifications of the 14th century.
Hours of operation: Summer Tourist Season (April 1 till October 31) Prague Castle complex 06.00 (6:00 am) to 22.00 (10:00 pm), Historical buildings 09.00 (9:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm). Winter Tourist Season (November 1 till March 31) Prague Castle complex 06.00 (6:00 am) to 22.00 (10:00 pm), Historical buildings 09.00 (9:00 am) to 16.00 (4:00 pm).
Admission: Entry is free onto the grounds but tickets required to enter the different buildings and the cathedral.
